I took a brief hiatus from my time on social for my A Meeting at the Well profile. In the time spent alone, the Holy Spirit taught me a few lessons, and helped me remember how strong I really am.
When was the last time you actually read the Bible? The last time God’s Word renewed your mind and transformed your way of thinking. God did not give us His Word simply for it to collect dust, and if you don’t read it. You are surely missing out on some hidden treasures!
If you’re thinking change in your life is impossible, then don’t let Satan or your flesh fool you! A Christian in Christ has no choice but to grow!
Discipline does not feel good at it. Especially, when you feel like you’re being unfairly punished. Why does God use punishment as a tool? How useful is it?
Have you ever thought where did I ever go wrong? I followed the directions given to me word from word. I bubbled in the right answers. I passed every test and it still feels like I’am sinking in my adult life when I should be prospering. Not a great career or shaky finances. Jesus never promises life will be easy, yet He will give us clarity the minute, even us struggling twenty somethings, humble ourselves and ask for His help.
Sometimes, life takes everything out of you! Life drains every piece of you and gives nothing back. Thank Jesus! He is our Sustainer and Refugee in our time of need.
Sometimes, we need to stop our selfish desires and actually look at those struggling around us. One of the greatest thing we can do is to stop, being so passive as our loved ones suffer.
There are some people who cannot keep anything a secret. Even after the Mighty God told them to. The last thing we should do is expose our good deeds, when Jesus warns us to do good unto others for God’s glory. Are we secret keepers or consistent, glory hog whistle blowers?
Which do you believe more of people’s opinions or God’s Word? We all have different church and life experiences, but thank God that His Word is the ultimate decider.
A soft, friendly reminder to always be thankful towards God! We can miss and take for granted our day to day blessings. Make sure your thankfulness is sincere.
